देवरियाताल "द मीडोज" रिसॉर्ट से 15 किमी दूरी पर है। "द मीडोज" से 13km आगे जा कर सारी गांव है । सारी गांव तक गाड़ी से पहुंच सकते है । सारी गाँव से देवरियताल 2km की दूरी पर है यहाँ से देवरियताल के लिए पैदल यात्रा करनी पड़ती है ।
Devariyatal is 15 km away from the "The Meadows" resort. Those sari can reach the village by 13 km. Devariyatal is 2 km away from the whole village which has to travel on foot.
Devriyatal Tracking
It is hard to trek during winters but we take different trek routes to trek your most famous & popular Chandrashila-Tungnath trek. Autumn and winter treks are the most popular. If you want to feel your inner adventurer part, this trek will put your strength to work. Get ready to lose yourself in the mighty Himalayas.
To follow this route, first we trek to sari village. Sari village acts as the picturesque base camp for the great trek to Chandrashila; Campsites, homestays, and guest houses are available for trekkers. Sari village is mostly used for overnight halt before setting off for Devariya Tal. Devriya Tal is located at a trekking distance of about 2 KMs from Sari Village and comes under Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand.
The lake is known for its wide 300° panorama, the lake Devariyatal is beauty of it’s own. A clear view of peak like Mt. Chaukhambha, and reflections of surrounding trees in it’s calm water could hardly be matched by any other camping site.
There are so many stories about this lake. According to the name of lake, one of the belief is that the Devas bathed in this lake. It is also believed that it was the place from where the mighty Pandavas were asked queries by Yaksha.
The trek begins with steady ascent followed by a rapid descent, there are 2-3 water points in route.
Walking across the forest ridges and Rohini Bugyal, you find spectacular views with Himalayan birds chirping all around.
